Petrobras plans to drill up until the end of this year
the second well in the field of Franco, in the pre-salt Santos Basin. The
information was given on the last Monday 10th October by the Manager
of Petrobras’s Sub-Surface area, Anelise Quintão Lara. The field is part of the
onerous assignment area of Petrobras.
The first well of Franco is already punched and will
be submit in a Long Duration Test probably in 2013, said the executive, during
the lecture about the Challenges and Opportunities of the Pre-Salt.
Anelise
announced that in 2012, also in the onerous assignment area, Petrobras intents drill
wells in the Florim fields and in the Northeast area of the Tupi field.
